Social media giant Facebook is testing a new feature that will allow Facebook Stories to be posted to Instagram Stories on Tuesday.


Currently, Instagram Stories can be shared in Facebook Stories, but the reverse is not possible. The feature came as Facebook continued to integrate Instagram with the rest of its services.

According to a Facebook spokesperson, the company is now formally testing the cross-posting feature to make it easier for a user to share moments with them, as people on Facebook vs. Instagram have different viewers and followers Can occur.

The new option will allow stories to be shared from one platform to another.
