Students of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA have found innovative solutions to prevent the corona epidemic. In the university's start-up team, two MBA students Lalit Faujdar and Nitin Sharma have developed a mobile app using geo-fencing technology. University faculty Ajay Sharma said that this app has been named Kavach. He informed that Covid-19 solution challenge was launched on 16 March by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Through this challenge, innovative solutions were invited to prevent the corona virus by 31 March. The university team has prepared this mobile app after 10 days of hard work, accepting the challenge.
Ajay Sharma said that at present, the prototype of the app has been prepared and sent to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The app has also been sent to Google India to make it available on the Play Store. If the app comes into practice after getting approval from the central government, then it can prove to be an effective way to prevent corona infection in the country as well as around the world.
VC Prof. Dinesh Kumar has praised the efforts of the start-up team. The Chancellor said that the Corona epidemic is becoming a threat to mankind worldwide. Prevention is the best option to deal with it.
