Usama Riyaz was recently treating patients returned from Iran and Iraq.

His family members said that Riyaz came home on Friday (March 20), but could not come the next day. He was first taken to the military hospital and then to the district hospital. He was placed on a ventilator and died on Sunday (March 22). He is a resident of Chilas, Gilgit-Baltistan.
