Condition of lockdown in Pakistan
In view of the increasing dangers of Coronavirus, Pakistan has now fielded the army. After getting suspected of this virus in all the provinces of the country, the Pakistani government has deployed forces in the capital Islamabad as well as in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Bluechistan, Gilgit and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
On Monday, the Home Ministry issued a statement saying that the army and paramilitary forces have been deployed to help the local civil administration. All the provincial governments across Pakistan have decided the lockdown. However, essential services have been kept separate from this. Apart from this, people are allowed to go out to buy groceries and medicines.
The administration has asked people to stay in their homes. All public transport, restaurants, malls and parks in Punjab province with a population of 10 crore have been closed. In Pakistan, the province most affected by Corona infection was already locked down.
