Former Chhattisgarh CM Ajit Jogi passes away



Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and Janata Congress Chhattisgarh Chief Ajit Jogi has passed away.  His son Amit Jogi has given information about this.  Ajit Jogi was ill for the last several days and was in a coma.  On Saturday (9 May), he was admitted to a hospital in Raipur for treatment after cardiac arrest.

Condition was critical for last several days:-

Ajit Jogi was called to the doctors after his sudden illness and cardiac arrest, after which he was admitted to the hospital.  The health bulletin issued from the hospital was told that, "Ajit Jogi is still in a coma and his condition is not good.

How is the effect of medicine in their body, it will be known in 48 hours.  He has been put on ventilator after suffering from shortness of breath. "Since then, his condition was very critical. After which he died on Friday, May 29.

Jogi was the first CM of the state:-

Ajit Jogi's full name is Ajit Pramod Kumar Jogi.  He has been the first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.  He has also been a prominent leader of the Congress.  Ajit Jogi was born in Pendra, Bilaspur.  He studied engineering, later he worked for the Indian Police Service and then the Indian Administrative, later came to politics on the suggestion of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Arjun Singh.

He has also been an MLA and MP.  When Chhattisgarh became a state on 1 November 2000, he became the first chief minister of the state.

Ajit Jogi was the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh between 2000 and 2003.  Prior to this, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha MP twice between 1986 and 1998.  At the same time, in 1998, he was elected Lok Sabha MP from Raigad.  He was also a Lok Sabha MP from 2004 to 2008.  After separating from the Congress, he formed his own party called Chhattisgarh Janata Congress.
