People will be able to buy alcohol in limited quantities for three to four days. A person can buy only one bottle, two Aadha, three pavas, two beer bottles and three beer cans at a time.

His surprise inspection caused panic. He said that strict action will be taken against those who overrate. Circles have been made for customers to follow social distancing outside shops and police forces have been deployed to avoid any ruckus.
Since morning, the crowd gathered at the liquor shops violated all the guidelines along with physical distancing, while Excise Commissioner P. Guruprasad had to come down to the ground along with Principal Secretary Bhusreddy. The excise department of the state is also expected to get a lot of revenue on the very first day due to the large crowd of liquor shops in the state on the first day. Police forces have been deployed along with excise at liquor shops. During this time it is also being seen that how much and how social distancing is being followed everywhere.
Excise Minister Ramnaresh Agnihotri said that liquor shops will continue to be opened even further. He told that it is taking time to reach the stock shops from the factory. In such a situation, no person should be given more than one bottle of alcohol. He said that fixed prices should also be taken care of. Opening of liquor shops on social media is being described by some people as wrong. On this, the Excise Minister said that the Government of India has taken this decision after taking everything into consideration. It was also causing huge loss of revenue. Whatever decision the government takes, it will be followed.
