PM Modi has announced extension of the complete lockdown of the country till May 3. Several state governments have already announced lockdown extension in their states, the Centre made an announcement today and PM Modi said the lockdown has been extended till May 3.
We will be implementing lockdown even more strictly till 20 April, said Narendra Modi. Some restrictions may be eased in places where there are no hotspots after that date, he added. He also said that the government must keep a close watch on places where new hotspots may emerge.
PM Modi says, "In case of any positive development in any particular area or district, we can give a conditional concession from April 20. In case of any violation, development of any new hotspots, those concession will be rolled back in those area."
Relaxations for daily wagers:-
