8 labourers lost their lives and 54 others were injured In Accidents In Madhya Pradesh (Accidents in U.P. and Bihar)



8 migrant labourers died and over 54 suffered injuries after the truck they were travelling in was hit by a speeding bus in Madhya Pradesh's Guna early this morning.  The incident took place hours after a group of migrants were run over by a speeding bus in Uttar Pradesh. Whereas a roadways bus in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh crushed the workers on foot.  Six workers were killed and four were seriously injured in the accident.  Apart from this, two laborers were killed and 12 injured in a bus and truck collision in Samastipur in Bihar.

The bus was travelling from Guna to Ahmedabad, the police said, adding that only a driver and a cleaner were travelling in it.


The truck with around 70 labourers was on its way to Uttar Pradesh from Maharashtra, when it had a head-on collision with a bus on a bypass road in Guna at around 3 am, police said.  Most of the labourers are from Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh, they added.

"The incident took place in Guna bypass road. The labourers were travelling from Mumbai to their hometown in Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. A bus was travelling from Guna to Ahmedabad. Three people have minor injuries. We are making efforts to send them to Unnao," said a police official.

Bus crushed labourers going to Bihar from Muzaffarnagar, six killed:-

A similar incident occurred late Wednesday night in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.  A roadways bus near Ghalouli checkpost and Rohana toll plaza crushed the workers on foot.  In this accident, six laborers died on the spot, while four people were seriously injured.  Two of these injured have been referred to Meerut.

Roadways bus near the Rohana toll plaza on Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur State Highway-59 crushed a convoy of workers returning from Punjab.  After the accident, the driver took advantage of the darkness and fled the bus.  Six workers died on the spot in the accident.  It was told that all the workers were returning from Punjab on foot.  The deceased and injured laborers are said to be from Gopalganj district of Bihar province.

Two laborers killed, 12 injured in Samastipur:-


A bus collided between the truck and the truck at Shankar Chowk in Samastipur, Bihar on Thursday morning.  In which two laborers were killed while 12 were injured.  The injured have been admitted to hospital.  The bus was going from Muzaffarpur to Katihar and 32 migrant laborers were present in it.

Said by Finance Minister. She said "Gareeb Kalyan Package will be announced after the lockdown".
"Over Rs 52,000 crore transferred into DBT accounts of 41 crore Jan Dhan holders".


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will address a press conference on Wednesday at 4 PM in New Delhi to provide the details of the Rs 20 lakh crore economic package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic and usher in an 'Aatmanirbhar' or self-reliant India. The special economic package will have an emphasis on land, labour, liquidity and laws, and will be for "our labourers, farmers, honest taxpayers, MSMEs and cottage industry", PM Modi said.

About 16 lakh government employees may decrease up to Rs 5000. The Uttar Pradesh government has banned immediate effect on 6 perks to get their employees.
