India will have to wait for Rafale fighter plane, France gave this reason

The Indian Air Force may have to wait a few months for the four new Rafale Fighter Aircraft to be received from France. First, these aircrafts were to reach India in May, but now the work of the lockdown has been stalled due to Corona in Rafale Factory in France. France is one of the most affected countries from Corona. Here, 1 lakh 78 thousand 870 patients have been found here and 27 thousand 425 people have been killed.

India took Rafale Aircraft officially in France's Miracock Factory in October 2019. According to the program, 4 aircraft was to reach Ambala airbase of Haryana till May, which was to be included in the Indian Air Force's number 17 Golden Arrow Squadron. India has bought 36 Rafale Aircrafts for Rs 58,000 crore from France. They will be made two squadrons of the Air Force which are likely to be deployed in Jorhat Airbas in the east in the west.

Due to the lockdown of Corona, all work in France is at a standstill, so now the arrival of these aircraft to India is delayed.  As of now there are no signs of a lockdown opening in France, so there is no possibility of the aircraft coming in for the next two months.

The Indian Air Force is struggling with a shortage of fighter aircraft.  The Air Force has the approval of 42 squadrons to fight Pakistan and China on a double front, but now the Air Force has less than 30 fighter squadrons left.  These include new fighters like Sukhoi 30, Mirage-2000 and MiG-29 as well as squadrons of Jaguar and MiG-21 which are over four decades old.  The Air Force has also started incorporating indigenous Tejas fighter aircraft but their capacity is limited.

Rafale is counted among the best fighter aircraft in the world.  It can run at almost twice the speed of 1913 km per hour.  From this, any enemy's base can be destroyed through a skull missile from 560 km away.  To destroy an enemy aircraft in the air, it has a Meteor missile, which has a range of more than 100 km.
